Glen Waters is a writer born in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from the Writer's Workshop in Spring 2023 and has lived in Iowa City since then, completing side quests. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa, teaching courses in Creative Writing focused on music writing, hip-hop, and health professional writing. Over the years Glen has worked as a freelance writer, barista, and chef. Currently he runs a local catering business, so he’s one of the worst people to talk to about food recommendations in Iowa City! Outside of this, Glen makes music, plays video games, and plays basketball in his non-existent downtime. His poetry can be found in Howard University's The Amistad, Poetry South, and Stephen F. Austin's Journal of Multicultural Affairs.
